[10.06.2006] The private investment firm Insight Equity acquires the Walker Group, including Walker Transportation, Walker Equipment, CPS Barrier and CPS Extract.
The operating management teams at Walker and Extract will remain in place. In addition, Doug Chapple has joined the group as Chief Executive Officer, based in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. Doug commented “we are extremely excited about the opportunities to successfully grow Walker and Extract, building on the excellent reputation their products have in the industries they serve.”
